In this article, we will explore the features and factors that are essential for a robot vacuum to effectively tackle pet hair, including suction power, HEPA filtration, specialized brushes, smart navigation, battery life, and maintenance. By understanding these key factors, you can choose a robot vacuum that is perfectly suited to your needs, and enjoy a cleaner, more comfortable home for you and your furry friends.
Say Hello To A Hair-free Home With A Pet Hair Robot Vacuum
Here are some of the most important factors to consider:
Strong Suction Power: The vacuum should have strong suction power to effectively pick up pet hair, dander, and debris from carpets, rugs, and floors.
HEPA Filtration: A vacuum with a high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter can help to capture small particles and allergens, such as pet dander, dust mites, and pollen, and prevent them from being recirculated into the air.
Specialized Brushes: Many robot vacuums for pet hair come with specialized brushes designed to effectively pick up pet hair from carpets and upholstery. Look for vacuums with bristle brushes or rubberized brushes that can easily dislodge and pick up hair.
Smart Navigation: A robot vacuum with smart navigation can help it to navigate around furniture and other obstacles in a room, ensuring that it effectively cleans all areas of the floor.
Large Dustbin: A vacuum with a large dustbin can hold more pet hair and debris, reducing the need for frequent emptying.
Long Battery Life: A vacuum with a long battery life can clean more rooms before needing to be recharged, making it more convenient to use.
Easy Maintenance: Choose a vacuum that is easy to clean and maintain, with easily accessible parts that can be removed and cleaned as needed.
By considering these factors when choosing a robot vacuum for pet hair, you can ensure that you select a vacuum that is highly effective at cleaning up after your furry friends.

Customer Review
If you’re in the market for a robot vacuum to help deal with pet fur, one of the most important considerations is suction power. Most companies in this space advertise power in pascals (Pa), the metric unit of pressure, though iRobot doesn’t always make this information easy to find. In general, the higher the Pa the better, especially if you have carpet, but battery life and obstacle avoidance capabilities also play a factor in overall performance.
Easy to use cleaning dynamo. I’m convinced that this thing sneaks outside because every day it seems to find a good load of crud that I can’t figure out where it comes from. So it’s either doing its job very well or is very clever about justifying its job. Either way, it deserves 5 stars.
I've had this vacuum for about a week now. We also purchased the i7+ Roomba to compare together (also because we were worried about getting the best price during Black Friday). We thought we would choose the i7+ Roomba with the Braava bundle over the T8+, but we were very wrong. I decided to purchase a robot vacuum for maintenance vacuum/mopping.
